Loya’s ‘My Top 40 at 40’ is a witty, inspiring book that makes
milestones into goalposts, encouraging readers to create incredible
experiences of their own
Author Kari Loya’s Top 40 at 40: Making the First Half Count is
a charming and hilarious collection of his own incredible experiences.
From the incredible and fantastic to the not-so-lucky, his
inspirational tone and fun outlook on life will entertain readers
everywhere who love an author with an insatiable taste for adventure.
Including
such wild adventures as tearing through the streets of Pamplona with
bulls on his heels, running to the top of the Empire State Building and
the floor of the Grand Canyon, a three-day James Bond themed wedding in
Argentina, and crossing the Andes on horseback, Loya’s spirit for
experience will carry though the pages, inspiring readers everywhere to
create stories of their own.
Written
in celebration of his fortieth birthday, Loya decided to present the
most memorable moments of his life in an original, meaningful way that
could be enjoyed not only by his friends and family, but people
everywhere. This collection of forty stories spanning six continents
and two decades is a witty and thrilling book of a life well lived, even
covering such unpleasant (yet still somehow fun to read) experiences
such as being audited by the IRS and getting arrested.
Loya’s
colorful recollections, infectiously enthusiastic voice, and hilarious
retelling of his epic adventures (and mishaps) will leave readers eager
to create their own unique stories in their lives – and hopefully,
figure out how to avoid the snags!
A
great read for anyone coming up on a milestone birthday, or any
individual looking for a little inspiration to jumpstart their own
adventures, My Top 40 at 40 is
well-written and expertly told with a keen sense of humor and a
wonderfully positive attitude that will translate to readers of all
ages, on all walks of life.
