Sabrynne McLain, like her main character, grew up in small-town Michigan, later moving to California to work for various companies, focusing on marketing and operations. Having dabbled in writing and editing all of her life, Sabrynne began writing When Red Is Blue as an application for a writing program, deciding to finish the book rather than take the course. When Red Is Blue received a Trophy Award from NNAAMI, and is available in both paperback and e-book form. Sabrynne now resides in Edinburgh.
